Job Summary
Duties include participating as a team member in a high-volume manufacturing environment by timely and accurately staging and unloading of raw materials per expected goods and production requirements. Position Responsibilities
' Staging raw materials at each production line in a timely manner
' Raw materials receiving / scanning and completion of associated BOL paperwork
' Assure daily coverage of raw materials per Production Schedule
' Organize & maintain raw material storage areas on a daily basis
' Manage trailer movement in and out of raw material dock doors
' Perform accurate counts of raw materials & variable ops as needed
' Setting up STO's of raw materials as needed
' Loading recyclables into recycle trailer as needed
' Other duties as assigned

JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for loading full trays of bread and cakes on step vans by route number and destination; check product and other duties as assigned. Work schedule 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.  Sun,Mon,Wed,Thurs,Friday , Off Tuesday and Saturday.  Physically intensive position - see physical requirements - must be able to push/pull 350#, etc (see below)
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Equipment Operator position receives, stores, and distributes material and products according to ISO 9002 and customer guidelines by performing the following duties: Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to pre-determined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Assembles customer orders from stock, stage orders and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to OHL or customer pick sheet, repacking stock as needed and requested by the customer. Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a forklift, reach truck, order picker, or other power industrial equipment. Operates the equipment in a safe and efficient manner following defined work methods and procedures. Maintains the equipment in a safe and clean manner and reports service requests as needed. Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse by conducting operations in a manner which promotes safety. Double checks orders for accuracy and neatness according to ISO 9002 procedures. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens bales, crates and other containers. Records amounts of materials or items received and distributed. Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards. Participates in company re-work projects as needed. Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. Efficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers. Unloads inbound freight safely and moves product to storage locations. Efficiently stacks and stores merchandise in the appropriate, designated area. Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring the exact numbers and type of product is loaded. Performs picking duties in an efficient manner that meets both company and customer standards. Performs other miscellaneous duties such as: assisting with physical inventories, cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation, maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area, informing a supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions, and assisting in clean-up as required.
